Caotic touristic Rome!!

A little bit far away from Woody Allen's  "To Rome with Love", Rome appears a bit confusionary and crowded these days of mild September. Not that easy to isolate a particular subject while taking pictures in our italian Babylon, but it is always interesting to walk among hundreds of people trying to search for good shots portraying every day's life here at this time of the year....

Vatican excursion

Centurions at work (most of them from India!)

Handicraft straw animals

Some music at piazza del Popolo (work in progress for the fountain of the square)

Best water in town from La Barcaccia fountain in piazza di Spagna

Wow!!! The Church!!

Break from work in a restaurant

.... same break!

Spanish steps among people

Selling shelter from the sun!

Just seized the right moment!

Behind the lady....the Pantheon!

Resting on a statue of the Pantheon fountain

Jonathan selling his paintings in Piazza Navona

Jonathan: so many years spent here selling paintings. Everybody knows him in Rome, and it's always nice to chat a bit with him when I pass by

Patient chinese art in Rome

Musical Rome!

Summer 2015.   40 °C for nearly 2 months this year!!! Crazy!! Hell must be cooler!! But my guitar teacher/dear friend of mine and I decided to go shooting this video around the beautiful squares of Rome both to pay homage to the Eternal City and to promote his music. He is an excellent musician composing his own music for the instrument he loves: guitar. Following his performance you can see a little backstage showing a little bit of the making of this video. It's been a pleasure to help him in this project by filming him in my town. Hope you enjoy!! We really had fun making this, and ... more videos to come.....stay tuned!
